Welcome to Zento. By accessing or using the Zento platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of the terms, then you may not access the service.
Zento provides AI-powered code review and automated testing services designed to help engineering teams ship code faster without breaking production. These terms govern the license and use of our software, the services we provide, and your obligations as a user of our platform.
By using Zento, you represent that you are at least 18 years old or have the consent of a parent or guardian. The Brand Tagline “Ship faster. Break nothing.” reflects our commitment to quality, but your individual results may vary based on code complexity and team adoption.
For the purposes of these Terms, the following definitions apply:
You agree to use the Platform only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You may not use the Service for any purpose that violates any applicable local, national, or international law.
You will not use Zento to generate, review, or test code intended to damage computer systems, steal data, or facilitate cyberattacks.
You must ensure your use of Zento complies with export control laws and international sanctions regulations.
You are solely responsible for ensuring that the code you review does not contain sensitive PII (Personally Identifiable Information) or proprietary secrets before processing it through the AI models.
Zento operates on a subscription basis. By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorize Zento to charge the selected payment method for the applicable fees at the beginning of each billing cycle unless canceled.
Payment Methods: We accept credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express) and PayPal. Payment details are processed securely via our third-party payment processors.
Refund Policy: We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee for new paid subscriptions. If you are not satisfied with Zento within the first 14 days of your paid subscription, contact our support team for a full refund. Refunds for charges after the 14-day period are evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period, and you will retain access until that date.
Ownership of User Content: You retain all rights, title, and interest in the code, scripts, and data you upload to the Platform. Zento does not claim ownership of your intellectual property.
License to Use: By using Zento, you grant Zento a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, process, and host your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you and improving our AI models. This license is necessary for Zento to function as an automated code reviewer and tester.
Open Source: If you use Zento to generate code, you remain responsible for ensuring that any generated code is compatible with your license terms and open-source compliance requirements.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ZENTO SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE THE SERVICE.
Zento’s total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising out of or related to these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid, if any, to Zento in the twelve (12) months prior to the claim’s inception.
Disclaimer of Warranties: The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. Zento does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.
Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the breach, termination, enforcement, interpretation, or validity thereof shall be settled by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association in accordance with its Commercial Arbitration Rules, and then by a single arbitrator.
The arbitration shall take place in the state of California, and you and Zento hereby submit to the personal jurisdiction of the federal and state courts located in California for the purposes of such arbitration or any litigation arising therefrom.
Zento reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date, or by sending an email to the address associated with your Account.
Your continued use of the Platform following the posting of revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of such changes.
